New Associate Directors for Salus

With so much change ahead in the NHS Salus has been working hard to optimise collaboration between neighbouring federations. We are delighted to announce that through our alliance with Farnham's Federation (FICS), Vikki Rigate will be joining Salus as Associate Director for Service Development from April 2025.  She will be joining Associate Director of Operations Simon Sheppard, recently seconded to us part-time by Surrey Heath.

Vicki's will be a 6-month secondment on a part-time basis (2 days pw) and she will also continue to work for Farnham PCN/FICS during this time.  As part of the the executive team alongside Daryl Gasson, Pari Roy and Simon Sheppard,  Vikki's role will focus on working with PCN & federation colleagues to develop new services for local patients, taking advantage of the opportunities created by closer collaboration between Salus, FICS & Surrey Heath federations.

Aldershot Urgent Care Centre - service amendment

On Tuesday, 26 November, after nearly a year the pilot Urgent Care Centre service based at Aldershot Centre for Health closed.

North Hampshire Urgent Care, NHS Frimley and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust are working together to continue to provide an urgent care service for the people of North East Hampshire, Surrey Heath and Farnham.
